Protein Power Balls!
Okay guys, I have a confession. I am a snack-aholic. I absolutely LOVE to snack! It gets trickier, though. I also love sweets. Who’s with me?! We’ve all felt the struggle – it seems like some of the easiest snacks can be the ones that are full of empty calories and ultimately end up dragging us down. But wait! I have a super easy snack idea that I’m sure you will love just as much as I do!
Protein Power Balls
- 1 cup oats
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or try cashew or almond butter)
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 scoop whey protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
Combine ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll into balls and enjoy! Keep refrigerated or try putting them in the freezer (that’s my favorite!). You can have fun and make adjustments to the recipe, like adding raisins or cranberries instead of chocolate chips.
Now you can snack without the guilt…who doesn’t love that??
