Not So Chunky Monkey Smoothie
Do you want to maintain a healthy weight and still get your fix for chocolate shakes? A smoothie is a great way to satisfy that craving while nourishing your body. Smoothies can easily contain way too many calories for an average meal. The “not so chunky monkey” is always a crowd pleaser!
Combine in a high power blender:
1 Frozen Bannana
4-5 small frozen mango cubes
1 cup spinach
2 cups (more or less for desired consistency) of your milk of choice … almond milk is my favorite with this recipe.
1 tsp unsweetened cocao
1 serving of our “physicians weight manager” meal replacement protein powder chocolate or vanilla
**consider throwing in any of your powdered/liquid supplements into this recipe. I have found you can hide almost anything without even noticing. I regularly recommend adding probiotic powder, minerals and vitamin D for my patients and their kids. Enjoy!
